As a Freelance Social Strategist for Van Brock, a private jeweler based in Kansas City, I led efforts to elevate the brand’s digital presence through refined, visually driven content. In addition to managing a content calendar and producing original photo and video assets, I supported a collaboration with the Kansas City Ballet by shooting brand photography and sharing content around Van Brock’s sponsorship of George Balanchine’s Jewels, including jewelry giveaways at each performance to deepen community engagement and boost brand recognition. I also facilitated in-store pop-up events with featured designer brands to foster in-person community connection and extend the brand experience beyond digital touchpoints. Over the course of a year, I increased Van Brock’s average engagement rate from 0.76% to 1.5% and grew its Instagram following by 45%.
